After years of devotion, perseverance, and grand architectural efforts, the Ram Darbar idols — sculpted intricately in Jaipur — have arrived at the temple and will be ceremoniously installed on the first-floor sanctum.

In tandem, around 5,000 temples across Mathura and nearby regions will perform elaborate rituals, while a special 56 Bhog offering will be presented to Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir. IRCTC has also announced exclusive Vande Bharat tour packages from Delhi to Ayodhya, ensuring that devotees from across India can join the historic celebrations.

Breaking a 300-Year Tradition

  • For the first time in three centuries, Mahant Prem Das, the chief priest of Hanuman Garhi Temple, will step out of the temple premises to visit the Ram Temple. Traditionally, the chief priest remains within the temple's 52-bigha area for life.
  • The visit is planned for April 30, 2025, coinciding with Akshay Tritiya, a significant day in the Hindu calendar.

Bajrang Path: Enhancing Connectivity in Ayodhya

  • The Bajrang Path is a 290-meter-long corridor under construction to directly connect Hanuman Garhi Temple with Ram Janmabhoomi, aiming to facilitate smoother pilgrim movement between these two significant religious sites.
  • As of April 28, 2025, approximately 45% of the construction work has been completed. The pathway will be 7 meters wide. It will connect with existing routes: Bhakti Path, Ram Janmabhoomi Path, and Sugriv Path.
